Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the official website, purchase process, licensing services, and Windows client of Flare Launchpad (hereinafter referred to as "Flare"). Flare is provided by Nocmt. If you have questions about privacy, purchase records, licensing, or data requests, please contact: support@nocmt.com.

1. Information We Process

The Flare client runs primarily on your local machine. In order to provide features such as the launchpad, application organization, purchase, trial, activation, update checks, and customer support, we may process the following information:

Official Website and Access Data: The official website may save your language preference locally in your browser; the website host, CDN, or servers may record IP addresses, browser types, access times, request paths, referring pages, and error logs for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and statistics.

Payment and Order Data: Purchases are processed by Stripe or other supported payment services. We do not save complete credit card numbers. We may receive your payment email, payment status, order number, Checkout Session, Payment Intent, amount, currency, region, license status, and necessary risk control, tax, and compliance information from payment services.

Licensing and Trial Data: When the Flare client creates a payment session, starts a 7-day trial, activates, restores activation, or verifies the license online, it sends device identifiers, application version, language/region, activation code, or local license tokens to the licensing service. The server side saves the hash of the device identifier, license status, bound devices, major version, trial status, activation time, last verification time, and license validity status.

Local Client Data: Flare saves your launchpad settings, hidden apps, grouping, renaming, manual sorting, recent launch times, custom application directories, icon pack paths, wallpaper paths, filtering rules, update-ignored versions, imported/exported backup files, and local license files locally on your computer. By default, this layout and preference data is not uploaded to us.

Application Scan Data: To display the application list, Flare reads the Start Menu, Public Start Menu, Desktop, Public Desktop, installed application registry information, and custom directories you actively add. The reading results are used to generate startup entries, grouping, sorting, filtering, and search experiences on your local machine.

Third-Party Icon Data: If you use the third-party icon search or download function, your search keywords, request information, and download behaviors may be sent to macosicons.com. This third-party service processes relevant data in accordance with its own policy.

Update Check Data: Flare may access the official update URL to check for new versions. This request may generate server logs containing IP addresses, platform information, access times, etc. Update information may include version numbers, download URLs, update descriptions, and whether the update is mandatory.

Customer Service Communication Data: When you contact support via email or other means, we may process your email, problem description, payment email, activation code, device status, screenshots, logs, or other information you proactively provide.

2. How We Use Information

We use the above-mentioned information to:

Provide Flare's official website, download, purchase, trial, activation, license restoration, and update services.

Generate, bind, verify, restore, or revoke licenses.

Process payments, invoicing, order inquiries, payment disputes, license revocations corresponding to refunds, anti-fraud, tax, and compliance requirements.

Provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, and improve product stability and compatibility.

Protect the security of the official website, backend licensing services, payment processes, and user rights.

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, or judicial processes.

3. Local Data and User Control

Flare's launchpad layout, application list organization, filtering rules, icons, wallpapers, custom directories, and preference settings are mainly saved on your local machine. You can manage this data through Flare's settings, import/export functions, or by deleting local configuration files. Deleting local configurations may result in the loss of layouts, cached licensing, or personalized settings, but it will not automatically delete overall server records we keep to fulfill order, licensing, tax, or compliance obligations.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. To provide services, we may share or delegate the processing of information within the necessary scope with the following entities:

Payment service providers, such as Stripe, for payments, risk control, tax, and compliance.

Email service providers, to send activation codes, orders, or support emails.

Website hosting, CDN, server, database, and security service providers, to run the official website and licensing services.

Third-party icon services, such as macosicons.com, requests are only made when you proactively use the corresponding feature.

Legal, regulatory, judicial authorities, or dispute resolution parties, when required by law or necessary to protect legitimate rights and interests.

5. Data Retention Period

Order, payment, licensing, activation, customer service, and security logs are retained for the period required to provide services, handle after-sales issues, payment disputes, taxes, audits, compliance, and security. Trial and licensing records may continue to be retained for a reasonable period after the license expires to prevent abuse, support restoration, and resolve disputes. Local configuration data is kept on your own device by you unless you actively delete, export, or overwrite it.

6. Security Measures

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data security, including license tokens, signature validation, HTTPS requirements, device hashes, not distributing payment keys to the client, access control, and log desensitization. Please note that absolute security cannot be guaranteed for Internet transmission and local device environments. You should also properly safeguard your activation codes, payment email, local accounts, and device access permissions.

7. Your Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may contact support@nocmt.com to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of the processing of your relevant information. To protect account and order security, we may require you to provide your payment email, order number, activation code, or other necessary information to verify your identity. Some information may not be immediately deleted due to contract fulfillment, dispute resolution, tax, audit, anti-fraud, or legal obligations.

8. Minors

Flare is intended for users with the ability to purchase and use it independently. Minors should use Flare or complete purchases under the consent and guidance of a guardian.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy based on product features, payment processes, licensing mechanisms, legal requirements, or operational needs. Significant changes will be brought to your attention in a reasonable manner on the official website or within the product. By continuing to use Flare, the official website, or related services, you indicate that you understand and accept the updated policy.
